These are great for placing your queen in a queen shipping cage. The wide opening is placed over the queen on the frame so the queen can climb into the tube on her own, lessening the chance of damaging her. Made of clear acrylic with foam blocks for both ends, it allows you to capture your queen and if needed, some workers. The smooth acrylic makes it hard for them to grip so when you tip it up, a gentle shake and they slide right into your shipping cage. If needed you can gently blow to encourage the bees to move down the tube.
