Queen Excluder Entrance Reducer

Plastic entrance reducer to prevent a queen from leaving a hive. This is useful when installing a swarm into a box to prevent the queen from taking the swarm somewhere else. Size : 1 7/8″ x 5″. Yes, we have occasionally had a swarm only stay an hour before leaving their new home.

*Pro Tip – You can also use a full size queen excluder under the brood box as well until they get established.
