Blue Handled Perfection Valve

These perfection valves are similar to the original gray handled one, but with a blue knob and different rubber gasket. Better suited for flat surfaces due to an o-ring, instead of a flat gasket like the grey handled ones. O ring is recessed in the nut to create a firm seal. Fits a 1 3/4 inch hole. Get a clean fill on any size bottle with these bottling valves. Made to be drip less, the honey flow stops as soon as the valve is closed, eliminating any drips. Comes with hex wrench to adjust tensioner on the handle. Please note; the handle does protrude below the bottom of the bucket. Setting on the edge of a table or shelf is needed. To make for an easier slide of the handle and less friction, we recommend putting a little food grade grease on the flat surface of the valve.

Easy to use and durable, this honey gate will make bottling mess free. Ergonomic ball shaped handle makes using this design of honey gate a pleasure. The adjustable spring loaded action valve instantly stops the pour. With the included allen wrench, tighten the spring if doing a lot of large fills as it holds the valve open. Loosen for small bottle fills. A flat rubber gasket between the threads and bucket keeps your connection from dripping. There is not a gasket on the moving parts so nothing to wear out. Honey is so thick, it will not leak out. Requires a 1 3/4 inch hole.

*Pro Tip – Use a small amount of food grade grease and the valve will easily slide up and down, almost effortlessly.

*If drilling a hole in your own bucket, ensure the nut on the inside can spin to tighten. Place nut inside on its corner, mark the center of the hole and drill @1/8″ higher. I’ve had to repurpose a few buckets because the hole was too low. Tighten the nut, not the valve or the rubber gasket will not seal correctly.
