Amish Pine 10 Frame Assembled Basic Brood Kit – Wax Dipped

Made by a local amish family and assembled in shop, this 10 Frame hive kit includes all you need for a Standard 10 Frame Deep brood set up. 2 Deep boxes give queens plenty of space for growth and space for bees to store enough honey for winter survival. Black Foundation in these frames make it easier to see eggs against the bottom of the cell. Foundation is all double waxed so no need to add layers of wax unless you want to.

Telescoping Lid, Boxes, and Bottom Board are wax dipped in our stainless steel tank. By fully submerging the parts in a blend of microcrystalline and parafin waxes heated to 300°F, wooden ware is fully permeated. This creates a weatherproof wood that is maintenance free for 15-20 years.
