This wasp and hornet trap has a built in solar light. It glows a muted blue. Charges by solar light and only glows after dark. Clear plastic jar has a frosted bottom to help hide any baits or caught bugs, making this the perfect trap to allow for a reduction of flying pests while being useful for ambient lighting after dark.
Make your own attractant:
Insert one or two small pieces of raw meat, fish / seafood or wet cat food. (Cooked meat is not as effective). Then fill with any fruit juice to the bottom ring. Add 1 teaspoon of sugar and one or two drops of dish soap. Reassemble trap and hang. When reusing, rinse with fresh water.
*Pro tip – If you set these out early enough, you can catch a queen yellow jacket. Catch her, and you just eliminated an entire colony of yellow jackets.
