Pura Pine 10 Frame Assembled 1 Deep 1 Medium Brood / 1 Medium Super Hive Kit – Wax Dipped

Made by Premier Bee Equipment in South Dakota, this 10 Frame hive kit includes all you need for a 1 Deep 1 Medium Brood 10 Frame Complete Hive Kit set up. 1 Deep box and 1 Medium Brood Box give queens plenty of space for growth and space for bees to store enough honey for winter survival. Black Foundation in these frames make it easier to see eggs against the bottom of the cell. 1 additional Medium for the honey super is ready for the hive to grow into and has white foundation to see the color of the honey against, making it easier to harvest seasonal honey. Foundation is all double waxed so no need to add layers of wax unless you want to.

Telescoping Lid, Boxes, and Bottom Board are wax dipped in our stainless steel tank. By fully submerging the parts in a blend of microcrystalline and parafin waxes heated to 300°F, wooden ware is fully permeated. This creates a weatherproof wood that is maintenance free for 15-20 years.
