Black Foundation in these frames make it easier to see eggs against the bottom of the cell. 1 additional Medium for the honey super is ready for the hive to grow into and has white foundation to see the color of the honey against, making it easier to harvest seasonal honey. Foundation is all double waxed so no need to add layers of wax unless you want to.
