Made by a local amish family and assembled in shop, this 10 Frame hive kit includes all you need for a medium brood set up. Medium boxes are lighter in weight and easier to handle when doing inspections. Black Foundation in these frames make it easier to see eggs against the bottom of the cell. Foundation is all double waxed so no need to add layers of wax unless you want to.
Telescoping Lid, Boxes, and Bottom Board are wax dipped in our stainless steel tank. By fully submerging the parts in a blend of microcrystalline and parafin waxes heated to 300°F, wooden ware is fully permeated. This creates a weatherproof wood that is maintenance free for 15-20 years.
