Buckwheat seed

This fall blooming flower is great for late season nutrition. Plant it 70-90 days before the summer derth and give your bees something to eat during the dry season. Grows 24-30 inches tall and provides abundant forage. Annual that dies with the first frost.
Buckwheat honey is very dark and robust, more like molasses. It has been found to have a higher concentration of anti-oxidants and can be sold as a specialty flavor.
