Honey filled In Muth Bottle

Fill with your favorite season of honey. Some varieties are not available you’re around. 

Apple Blossom honey is lightly floral and sweet to the taste. Very light in color. We pollinate for an apple orchard to collect this honey.

Spring Honey is lightly flavored and sweet. Very Light in color. Tulip Poplar, Black Locust, Honeysuckle

Summer honey has a classic honey taste and is golden in color.

Goldenrod/ Fall Honey is a bold honey flavor and slightly darker in color than summer. 

Buckwheat honey is very dark and richly flavored honey. More similar tasting to molasses or sorghum.

Orange Blossom Honey from Florida has a slight tang with a light honey flavor. Not local, but from a trusted source. 

Our honey is all natural, lightly strained, and raw. It has never been heated above 100°F so it is unpasteurized and the natural enzymes are intact. Light straining removes wax and hive debris while leaving behind the pollen spores so you get all the benefits of seasonal local honey.

The muth bottle is a replica of the early 1900’s jar. It features an embossed apiary image and the weight of honey it holds. This bottle is thought to have been designed by Charles Muth in Cincinnati OH. It is sealed with a cork stopper and we dip them in beeswax to keep them airtight.

For shipping, we cannot guarantee honey will not leak since only a cork is used. We have shipped an empty bottle and a plastic bottle of honey that you can then fill the Muth with. 



All honey crystalizes. If your bottle crystalizes, do not microwave it! It is not spoiled or rotten, you can save it. Simply heat water either in the microwave or oven, remove it from heat, place the bottle in the warm water and allow it time to decrystalize. If you heat it in the microwave or in boiling water, you can destroy the natural enzymes of the honey, making it an inert sweetener. It will not affect the flavor but you do lose some of the health benefits.
