Pura Pine 10 Frame Assembled 3 Deep Full Hive Kit – Wax Dipped

Boxes made by Premier Bee Equipment in South Dakota, this 10 Frame hive kit includes all you need for a  brood set up.  Deep boxes give queens plenty of space for growth and space for bees to store enough honey for winter survival. Black Foundation in these frames make it easier to see eggs against the bottom of the cell. 1 extra deep box is for a honey super. Deep supers are equivalent to approximately 1.5 medium supers, but can weigh up to 80lbs. White Foundation in these frames make it easier to see the color of honey against, so you can harvest seasonal honey together. Foundation is all double waxed so no need to add layers of wax unless you want to. Boxes have undercut handles for easy gripping and half blind dovetails for the joints, creating a sturdier box. 

Telescoping Lid, Boxes, and Bottom Board are wax dipped in our stainless steel tank. By fully submerging the parts in a blend of microcrystalline and parafin waxes heated to 300°F, wooden ware is fully permeated. This creates a weatherproof wood that is maintenance free for 15-20 years.
