First Year Hive Set Up With Nuc

A whole hive and the bees! This kit is perfect for getting your first hive, or just getting everything you need all at once when you are expanding your apiary. (Does come with 5 less frames in hive kit to accommodate 5 frames in nuc).

Nucs from our bees here in Ohio, not brought in from out of state, will be released in the order they were placed as they take time to build up. We expect nucs to be released beginning Mid-May to mid June. We will call you to make an appt when it is time to pick up your nuc so be sure to use an email address and phone number that is accurate and one that you check often.

Kit Includes:
* 5 Frame Nuc: Bees out of our apiary. 5 frames of brood, bees, and a laying queen. These bees are usually ready for pickup late May- Weather dependent.
* 10 Frame Hive in Amish Pine: Telescoping lid, Inner Cover, Assembled Medium box with 10 Assembled Frames with White Double Wax Puracell Foundation, 2 Assembled Deep boxes with 15 Assembled Frames with Black Double Wax Puracell Foundation, Entrance Reducer, Solid Bottom Board
* Ceracell Top Feeder to grow your bees with sugar syrup when you install them. Holds 2.5 gallons of syrup so you dont have to fill it as often as other feeders
* Rigid Foam Board, Mouse Guard, and Feeder Shim to use your first winter with the bees. Insulation to help keep heat in and a spacer to put solid bee food in.
