Amish Pine 8 Frame Assembled 3 Medium Brood Kit – Wax Dipped

Made by a local Amish family and assembled in our shop, this 8 Frame hive kit includes all you need for a medium brood set up. Medium boxes are lighter in weight and easier to handle when doing inspections. Black Foundation in these frames make it easier to see eggs against the bottom of the cell. Foundation is all double waxed so no need to add layers of wax unless you want to.

Kit Includes: Telescoping Lid, Inner Cover, 3 Medium Pine Boxes Assembled, 24 Medium Frames Assembled with Black Puracell Double Waxed Foundation, Solid Bottom Board, and Entrance Reducer. 

Telescoping Lid, Boxes, and Bottom Board are wax dipped in our stainless steel tank. By fully submerging the parts in a blend of microcrystalline and parafin waxes heated to 300°F, wooden ware is fully permeated. This creates a weatherproof wood that is maintenance free for 15-20 years.
