Amish 8 Frame Shallow Box Unassembled

Shallow boxes are great for doing cut comb in and for honey supers. This box measures 5 11/16 inches and features finger/box joints to make it strong enough to hold many pounds of honey. Locally made by an Amish family from Ohio White pine. 

Unassembled, hardware is not included.

*Pro Tip – Only paint or seal the outside part that is exposed to weather. Do not seal the inside or top/ bottom that the boxes actually sit on.  Pressure and heat will seal the boxes together and you can tear boxes apart trying to separate them.  The thin layer of propolis inside can make it hard enough on you.
