This brush is gentle on the bees but durable. Made with natural fibers and wood, it is an all natural alternative to the common stiff plastic bristle brush that can easily damage bees. We keep an old nylon brush on hand in the store so you can understand the difference by comparing them side to side. *Bonus* Natural Fibers does not have a memory so if your bristles get’s stored a little funky, it does not affect them. Try that with a nylon brush. (It’s happened to us)
*Pro Tip – Its all in the flick of the wrist. This isn’t a floor broom, the key to not damaging your bees is using soft little flicks of the wrist, not one big long stroke. If helps the bees along just a little and gives them time to move out of the way.
