This pre formed food grade polypropylene hive has built in insulation giving it the R value of 7. Durable and maintenance free, this hive set up will last for years while looking brand new. Latches keep it all together securely. Choose between wired wax or Puracell foundation in your frames (we recommend the Puracell double waxed foundation for durability, ease of use, and bee acceptance. Black foundation is used in the brood boxes and white foundation is used in honey supers.) You can add either Anel supers or wood supers to Anel deep brood chambers.
Save a little by selecting unassembled frames and putting them together yourself, but the boxes are formed in 1 piece so no assembly required there. Wax does not come installed in assembled frames due to the delicate nature of the beeswax and support pins/wire are not included.
We recommend 2 deep brood boxes and 1 medium honey super. You must select a minimum of 2 deeps, 1 deep 2 mediums, or 3 mediums to qualify for the discount.
